Latemar.Relax

The Latemar.Relax snail trail (trail no. 11) starts at the Ochsenweide valley station and follows a gentle route through a varied landscape. After just a few steps, idyllic alpine meadows unfold before you, where cows graze peacefully and the fresh mountain air invites you to take a deep breath. Soon, the trail enters a dense conifer forest. Winding between towering fir trees and alongside small streams, sunlight filters through the treetops, bathing the forest in an almost fairytale-like glow. Along the way, thoughtfully designed nature stations with comfortable seating invite you to take a short break, admire the scenery and enjoy the peaceful silence of nature.

Time and again, the forest opens up to reveal wide alpine meadows. The narrow grassy paths make you feel as if you are walking through a living landscape painting. This harmonious combination of forests, meadows and the breathtaking Dolomite scenery makes the Latemar.Relax one of the most enjoyable hikes around Obereggen. The final section follows a forest road leading directly to the Laner mountain hut, where a welldeserved break awaits before you begin your return journey.
