The Dolomites in South Tyrol

Our hotel is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, the Dolomites; between Rosengarten and at the bottom of Latemar Mountain directly at the Latemar Ski Center.

The imposing Dolomite peaks create a unique setting for winter athletes. Thanks to the variety of the landscape there is plenty of space for 1,200 km of perfectly groomed slopes, 1,177 km of cross-country tracks, splendid winter hiking trails and varied snowparks. What could be more beautiful than skiing down the slopes or a comfortable snow-shoe hike while enjoying the impressive view of the rough mountain walls? In the evening, when the last sunrays of the winter day are reflected on the rocks, you can admire the renowned alpenglow when the white rocks change colour and become red. This is only one of the reasons why the Dolomites were declared a World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO in 2009.
