Golf holiday close to the golf course in the Dolomites, South Tyrol

It’s par tee time

Could there be anything more beautiful than golfing at over 1,200 metres, in the midst of the South Tyrolean Dolomites?
Top-class greens, such as the Golf Club Petersberg or the Golfclub Carezza, are very close by and can be reached in around 25 minutes from the Hotel Sonnalp. By the way: celebrities like Winston Churchill and Agatha Christie have improved their handicap on these courses.

But watch out: the views of the imposing mountain peaks can sometimes distract you from the game.

Highlight for golf fans

As a member of the Golfin Südtirol association and the Golfclub Petersberg, we offer the golf fan guests a very special deal: with the Golf-Card, you get a green fee reduction of 20% – valid on all golf courses in South Tyrol.

Golf Club Petersberg

… was the first golf course in South Tyrol and has always been one of the most beautiful 18-hole courses for a birdy, hole in one and more. There is a lot of variety on the green, from narrow fairways to lakes and stone and wall obstacles. All surrounded by magnificent forests and magical views of the Val d’Ega mountains and the natural world of the Dolomites. The clubhouse itself surprises with excellent cuisine and a fine wine selection.

Golfclub Carezza

… has a 9-hole course and not only ensures a top-class round of golf, but is also a real challenge: by the way, you will also cover around 400 metres in altitude! What is more, the narrow and sloping lanes promise a tingling gaming experience. And the panoramic views of the Rosengarten come with it for free.

“My favourite is and remains our members club in Petersberg. But if you have more time and are looking for variety, I recommend the Dolomiti Golf Club in Sarnonico under the Mendel Pass.“
